Description

Victory Park in Stockton is a 22 acre community park with lots to do. There are big kid and little kid play areas, numerous picnic areas, 2 tennis courts, a rose garden, 2 lighted softball fields, lots of mature shade trees, 2 ponds with fountains,1 basketball court, and the wonderfulHaggin Museum.

The play areas are nearest the corner of North Pershing Avenue and Picardy Drive. Unfortunately, there is only street parking. The play areas are newer with tanbark and nice structures. My kids enjoyed racing down the three side-by-side slides on the big kid play structure. The play structure has a bridge and lots of climbing apparatuses. Even daddy got in the game!

There are many picnic areas in the park, including 2 right next to the play areas. The ponds with the fountains and the Haggin Museum are nearby.

The 82 year old Haggin Museum is an amazing art and history museum with world-renowned pieces. It has many special events, rotating exhibits, and fun for kids. The museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
