Description

Via Paraiso is a beautiful park in Monterey. It is well used between its ball field, playground, and group barbecue picnic area.

The park actually has three parking lots, two tennis courts, a basketball court, a ball field, and the playground on one level with the group picnic area up above in a grove of trees. There are bathrooms next to the play areas and lots of benches.

The play areas have sand covering and two separate structures. There are two big kid, two tot, and a tire swing. One of the big kid swings is wheelchair accessible. The structures also have seven slides with one that is a spiral tube slide.

I liked this park for the same reasons I liked all of the Monterey parks - it was very clean and peaceful.
