Description
Veterans Plaza Park is a nice little park one block away from Pleasanton's Main Street. There's a lot crowded into a small space, but it works.
There's a big kid play structure with a swinging bridge, two slides, and a few different ways to climb up. The play area also has a climbing structure and a unique teeter-totter.
I really liked that the play area was fenced in and had lots of tall trees around it that provided some dense shade.
Have a big meal at Dean's Cafe on Main St. or some great pizza at Gay Nineties Pizza Co.and then amble over to Veteran's Plaza Park to let the kids burn some energy.
