Description
Toyon Park has a beautiful new play area that was renovated in September of 2010 with the help of the community and KaBoom!.
Not only is it wonderful for the kids, it's wonderful for the parents too. Since the park is down-wind of the Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory, there's wonderful aroma of chocolate present most days.
We loved the teeter-totter, the spinners, and the play structure itself. The play area is small, but there was enough to keep all of the kids playing there very happy.
There are benches next to the play area and a picnic area across the park. There are also 2 horseshoe pits at the park. Toyon is right next to an elementary school, so at pick up times the street and parking lot can become congested.
