Description

It's easy to see why Tidelands Park is nicknamed Pirate's Park. The wonderful ship gave our kids and some new friends an hour of make believe play.

The park is on the edge of beautiful Morro Bay. There's a great view of Morro Rock from the park. It's also easy to watch boats heading out or motoring back in.

There are some climbing ladders at the park, but most of the fun comes from the kids own imaginations.

We stopped at the park after a great time just down the street at Morro Bay Aquarium. Small, cheap. but totally entertaining to listen to the sea lions bark for food. Definitely buy some sea lion food.
