Description
The Tennis and Community Park is a fabulous park! Our neighbors highly recommended it and we were not disappointed. It is such a well-designed park.
Tennis comes first in the name because it truly is a tennis complex. There are at least 10 beautiful, lighted tennis courts with viewing areas. There is also a community center next to the courts. I am sure they hold many tournaments here.
The play areas area are quite large and separated by a walking bridge. Kids can access either play area by going under the bridge. There is not a lot of shade nor benches by either play area, but both areas are surrounded by grass hills- so it's easy to sit and supervise.
The older kid play area has the water feature on its side of the bridge. The play structure has four swings, three slides, and a zip line. It is quite large and tall with lots of climbing opportunities.
The ages 2-5 play area has a very large sand pit with four diggers! There is also a teeter-totter, four swings, and the play structure has four slides and a crawling tunnel.
In addition to above, there are two parking lots, two lighted basketball courts, several grassy fields, a sand volleyball court, and flat paths around the park that are perfect for walking or riding bikes.
