Description

South Beach Playground is such a beautiful park at such a beautiful location. However, it isn't a San Francisco Rec & Parks playground. It was privately built by the South Beach Marina Association. I think they did a great job complimenting AT&T Park.

The park itself is for little kids, mostly preschoolers and tots. Those were the rough ages of the kids who were enjoying it the day we visited.

My kids had a great time walking the cement wave surrounding the climbing net pyramid. They also had fun on the spinning merry-go-round. I liked that it was small and therefore very easy to supervise the kids at play. There's also only one gate in and out.

We made it into a day trip by visiting both South Beach park and the play area at AT&T ball park. Didn't know there was a play area at the ball park? Check it out on the AT&T Park page!
