Description

Richard Fahey Village Green Park is a 5 acre park behind the shopping center at the corner of Alcosta Blvd and Village Green Parkway. It has a nice play area, but with older equipment.

There are bathrooms, shaded picnic areas, a parking lot, and a ball field. My kids liked the swings the best.

At the back of the park is an entrance to the Iron Horse Trail. We played at the park for a while, then rode our bikes along the trail. It was a good place to park our car and have easy access to the trail. From Richard Fahey Village Green Park in San Ramon to Val Vista Park in Pleasanton it's a 3.4 mile ride along the Iron Horse and Alamo Canal Trails.
