Playground Fantastico Park Photos

Playground Fantastico is such a whimsical, colorful playground. I was really struck by its brightness even though we visited on a dreary, overcast day. It is a playground built by the community in 2002. The love behind that effort still shows.
There are many different, unique aspects to the playground. It has play houses, lots of musical opportunities, a big sand pit area with animal statues and a stream, a wooden fort play structure, a rocket and castle theme, and a very neat climbing wall. These are not your standard play structures by any means.
The playground has two parts to it. The right side is for younger kids with its play houses, wooden train, rockers, and tot swings. The older kids have the wooden fort structure with its unique physical challenges, two tunnel slides and one bumpy slide. Beware there a lots of little cubby areas for them to hide in. The older kids also have swings in their play area.
There are benches all around inside the fence of the play area. The play area has tanbark covering except for the sand pit. It can be loud since the playground is right next to Highway 29. Next to the play area, under a big tree, there are lots of brightly colored picnic tables. Along with the mosaics built into the walls, there is color all around you.
