Description
Kennelly Skate Park is located behind and up the stairs from Coaches Field. It is a good sized skate park.
It mainly consists of a tri-clover shaped bowl and a sort of wave-like bowl that dead ends. There are rails, ramps and stairs too.
When we visited Kennelly, Piedmont Recreation and Parks Dept. had a "Learn to Skateboard" class going on. How awesome is that?
It was wonderful to see the park being used to its full potential. It was also wonderful to see a girl in the class!
Kennelly can also be used by BMX riders on Tues. and Thur. from 3pm to 4:30 pm and on Sun. from 1 pm to 2:30 pm.
The park is monitored and helmets, pads and ID's are required.
