Description
Parsons Park is a smaller park with a large grassy field. The play area is surrounded by the field and a 1/4 mile or so long walking path. The entire park is fenced with only two working gates.
The fence makes me feel pretty safe letting my son out of view for a few seconds. Especially when he pedals his bike as fast as he can down a slight incline to see how long a skid he can make.
The park is a neighborhood park with lots of benches right at the play area so it is easy to watch the kids play. Many playgroups meet here since it is small and enclosed. Biggest drawback is that there are no bathrooms.
Parsons is used by lots of different groups of people. There are many walkers and people walking dogs around the loop in the mornings and in the evenings there are soccer practices and parents taking their kids to play after work.
