Ohlone Park is interesting. It's more a a greenway from Milvia St. to Sacramento St. running between Delaware St. and Hearst Ave. That means it's 6 blocks long.
There are two play areas. One play area is located at Hearst and McGee Ave. This play area has a little kid play structure set in sand, a small picnic area, basketball court, and another paved area. I really liked that the play structure was fenced and gated. Much easier to supervise kids. Head east a little ways toward Grant St. and you come to the big kid play area with a tetradecagon net climbing structure and another smaller structure with lots of graffiti on it.
The other play area is at the east end of the park at Milvia St. To get there from the rest of the park you have to walk a block on city streets past Martin Luther King Jr. Way to Bonita Ave. We didn't walk this far, but there is a big kid play area set in sand and a little kid play area set in sand also. There's also a small field between the two play areas.
Ohlone Park has a nice ball field- it's at the west end of the park at Sacramento St. There's also a vibrant community garden near the big kid play area at Grant St. Unfortunately, we didn't see any bathrooms during our trip, but I'm guessing there's one near Milvia St.
