Description
Hardy Park's water feature is a man-made creek that begins at the park and flows into Temescal Creek a little ways down the greenbelt. At Hardy (Frog) Park, where it begins, it is more of a big pond with knee deep water.
The bottom is dirt and so the water is muddy, but the day we were there it was flowing swiftly so nothing was stagnant. The pond is set among redwood trees and just looks like it would be a dam builders or sailboat racers dream.
I have no idea how crowded Hardy Park might get, but the pond looks fairly big since it has a curve to it. There are rocks that kids can walk out on and be surrounded by water. It just seems pretty cool - and I'm the adult!
