Description
Mervin Morris Park has a very small play area with only one big kid play structure. However, it is home to San Lorenzo Little League and Cameron's Skate Park.
The play structure has two slides, on which is a tube slide and quite tall. The structure has a neat entrance to the tube slide. There are bathrooms and picnic benches right next to the play area and the parking lot and skate park are only 100 feet away or so.
Mervin Morris is right across from Arroyo High School, so I don't know what the make-up of the park is after school lets out. I am fairly certain it is in near constant use during baseball season. There are also three tennis courts and quite a few big, open grass fields. One thing that concerned me was there the park is bordered without a fence by Grant Ave, which is a very busy and fast street.
