Description
Meadowlark Park is a bright, beautiful park just west of Highway 680. I'm pretty sure it's either recently renovated or new, because the play structures are so bright and the surrounding park is so clean. I hate to think that the park is this way because no one uses it. It's a got a great play area.
There are 2 play structures in different play areas separated by a small grove of redwood trees. Both have tanbark and either benches or picnic tables next to it. The big kid play structure has at least 3 different ways to climb up, 2 of which are small climbing walls. Kids could easily keep busy with a game of tag on this structure.
The tot play area has a spring mounted airplane and fire truck. They both seat 2 kids. The play structure has slides, ways to climb up or down, a store front, activity panels, and a talk tube.
There is another play structure along Foothill Knolls Drive if you take that way to the park. The park also has a sand volleyball court, basketball court, and a long walking/riding path.
Unfortunately, there isn't much over the play areas, and since the park is right next to 680, the freeway noise is loud.
