Description
Julius Kahn Park is a lovely park that sits at the southern edge of the Presidio in San Francisco. There are trails that lead into the wooded areas of the Presidio from the park.
The play area is entirely fenced in with only two entrances. There are two play structures, both of which are designed for ages 5-12. The more traditional play structure is in the sand area and the cooler looking play structure without much to do is on the rubberized turf section.
There is a unique climbing tree that spins (sounds more crazy than it looks). Also, there are two teeter-totters; one is a three-way teeter-totter and the other one has a very unique design so that you can either stand or sit on it.
In addition to the play area, there is a ball field, an active recreation center, bathrooms, four tennis courts, a basketball court, and some picnic benches.
