Irvington Community Park is a great park with a cool castle-like play structure. The play structure has two really long tube slides coming down from the highest point on the towers. Kids probably race each other down them.
There is also another play structure for the younger kids along with some ride-on spring toys. The two play areas are separate enough for the young kids not to get in the way of the big kids, but they're also close enough for easy supervision.
Three unique features for the play ground are a bar climbing structure, a climbing wall, and a drum set. I love that two kids could sit near next to each other and play together, but on separate drum sets.
In addition to the two play areas Irvington Community Park has a beautiful artificial turf football field (probably used by the high school directly across the street), a basketball court, a large grass area, a popular picnic area, a library branch, a recreation center, and lots of shade.
Perfect place to spend some play time!
