Harborview Park Photos

Harborview Park has been recently renovated. The San Mateo Park Dept. website wouldn't say when it was renovated, but everything is very new and very clean. I imagine in the summer, also very hot because there is little shade since the trees are new.
My kids and I liked the play area even though the play structures are the new kind that look cool, but a kid usually can't play much on them. These structures are the new kind, but have monkey bars, slides, climbing walls, spinners, and swings.
The ground covering is rubberized turf, but there is a sand pit with a frog that has a small fountain coming out of the lily pad on this head. See, even the frog gets hot- he's supposed to be on the lily pad, not under it.
The play area is next to the street, but there's a fence separating it from the sidewalk. There's also a half-basketball court and a ball field. The bathrooms are between the play area and the ball field.
