Description

Aqua Adventure Water Park is a new water park in Fremont that opened in May of 2009. It has four water slides with two enclosed tubes and two open tubes, a 3 foot deep lazy river, a pool, a water play area with a structure called "Bucket Bay", and a tot water play area with fountains, buckets and a mushroom shower on rubberized turf.

We went at the end of summer and the facility was very clean and very neat. There were lots and lots of lounge chairs placed all over the facility so supervision is very easy. There are also several shaded areas for lounging on the grass.

Among the things that I really liked were the availability of life jackets for anyone to wear. There were many sizes available and all you had to do was to ask a clerk for one. I also really liked that there were lifeguards stationed all over the facility. Even for the tot water play area.

The lay out of the water park is nice except for it seemed that the best way to Bucket Bay was to cross a bridge with staircases over the lazy river. A little iffy for young feet.

Be aware that you are not allowed to bring any food into the facility. The day we went, they did ask to see inside bags upon entry. There is a snack bar inside.
