Description

Franklin Park is a cute little park surrounded by trees. It seems to have been recently redone and it looks wonderful. I especially liked the beautiful roses along the fences.

The entire play area is fenced in with only on gated entrance. To the left of the paved entryway is the big kid section and to the right is the tot area. The sand pit is in the tot area. All of the other ground covering is tanbark. The big kid play structure is pretty neat with a set of fun monkey bars. Both play areas have benches for adults to rest their weary feet, some are even shaded.

There is a basketball court, a ball field, and two tennis courts. The recreation center was open and in full swing with lots of activities going on .Outside the fenced area is a beautiful park setting with big trees, paths and benches.

I really liked this park. Being there was very peaceful. The only sounds I could hear were the sounds of kids playing and swings squeaking.
