Description

Fairlands Park is a really neat park. The play area and the tennis courts are located at the west end of the park. But the park meanders behind houses for a long ways to the east. This is great for bike riding and walking.

The walking path begins behind Fairlands Elementary and continues to the play area, behind a private swim club, along an open field, and at its longest point ends at Gulfstream St. It's quite a nice path.

The play area has a play structure for ages 5-12, two big kid swings and two tot swings. It's covering is tanbark. There isn't any shade over the play area- think sunscreen, but there is a picnic table nearby that's partially shaded by a mature tree.

The park also has two tennis courts near the play area. Sadly, the park doesn't have any bathrooms. Ultimately, Fairlands is best for bike riding or walking.
