Description
Earl Warren Park is an older park among eucalyptus trees and rolling hills. It is interesting to note that the given address is on Crow Canyon Rd, but that entrance is often closed. You also have to take a foot bridge over a creek to enter from that way. A much easier way to get to the park and its parking lot is to take Paradise Knolls east off of Center St.
The park is behind Creekside Middle School and so park users can use Creekside's track when school is not in session. Earl Warren is also home to Castro Valley's only dog park.
The play area is away from the dog park and down a hill from the school. The play structure is a good size, but designed for ages 4 and up. The ground covering is sand.
