Disneyland really is the place where everyone can be a kid again, even without wearing mouse ears. The park now has eight lands to experience, each with its own theme. The lands are: Main Street, Frontierland, Adventureland, Critter Country, Tomorrowland, Toontown, Fantasyland and New Orleans Square.
The must see attractions range from the thrilling Indiana Jones Adventure to the perennial favorite "it's a small world". Don't miss the fireworks spectacular "Fantasmic". Construction has begun on a new "Star Wars" land in the far left corner of the park. The new lands are expected to open in either 2018 0r 2019. It truly will be amazing!
Everyone has their own style of visiting Disneyland. Some people do it over many days, some in one day. My advice- Keep your kids limits in mind. Sometimes a cool hotel pool is much more fun than standing line for another ride. Oh, and use a FASTPASS whenever you can!
Starting in the spring of 2016 Disney began surge pricing for 1-day park tickets That means the admission price fluctuates based on crowd expectations for the particular day. A weekend day in July will cost more than a weekday day in January. Also, a 3-day park ticket is the minimum number of days which include a Magic Morning entrance. That means you can enter either California Adventure or Disneyland one hour early, depending on the day.
A special thanks to Jamie for the pictures.
