Description
Manor Pool at Slide Hill Park in Davis was a surprising find. It is a wonderful place. I visited there around 6 or 7 pm on a Saturday evening and it was packed with swimmers totally enjoying themselves and beating the heat.
There are three pools: a zero-depth entry pool or wading pool, a lap pool, and a diving pool. In addition, there is a cool cement water play area. There were vigilant lifeguards all around, especially near the water slide.
If you just want to watch, that's okay too. There is a nice shaded viewing area near the building. Manor Pool's hours for the fall are Mon-Fri 3:45 to 6:00 pm, and Sat-Sun 1:00 to 6:00 pm.
