Description
Creekside Park is a nice, well-maintained neighborhood park in Pleasanton. Its fields are heavily used for soccer in the evenings and weekends. Most evenings you can find many of its nearby residents out for strolls and get-togethers at the park.
The play area has two structures with a total of nine slides. There is also a teeter-totter and swings. Right next to the play area are lots of covered picnic tables, which is good because Pleasanton can get hot. The play area has tanbark covering and no shade.
When you first enter the park, you come to the parking lot, then the bathrooms, and then the play area. To the left of the play area is the basketball court, tennis backstop, and sand volleyball court. Behind the play area is the big, grassy field. There is a nice, flat path that surrounds the park and is great for bike riding. At the back of the park you can take a path over a bridge which connects you with the Iron Horse Trail.
