Description
Bernal Community Park is a beautiful new park, dedicated on Sept. 12, 2009. The park is mainly a ball park with 2 gorgeous, lighted ball fields. They were in pristine condition.
The play areas are between the ball fields and the bathrooms, next to the parking lot. The play areas are modern with neat amenities such as a climbing web and a couple of small climbing walls.
The play areas are so brightly colored, they stand in big contrast to the emptiness of the park. I'm sure there will be houses surrounding it soon, but right now all you can hear is the wind and the low hum of Highway 680.
