AT&T park at AT&T Park is a really neat play area. Just to be in AT&T Park is pretty cool, but to be able to play there is awesome.
The play area is located in the Coca-Cola Fan Lot above the left field bleachers on the Promenade Level. The main features are four tube slides inside an 80-foot wooden Coca-Cola contour bottle, a genuine cable car, the world's largest baseball glove and a miniature ball field named "Little Giants Park" complete with balls and bats in kid size.
The four slides are numbered #1,2,3, and 4. Slides #3 and #4 are designed for children to transfer from a assisted mobility device to the slide platform and slide unattended. These slides are shorter and also perfect for younger kids. Slides #1 and #2 are the longer, higher slides for the older kids. All sliders must be between the ages of 3 and 14 and at least 36" tall.
We had a lot of fun playing here. The kids were thrilled to play baseball in "Little Giants Park" in a real stadium. They had fun horsing around and even running the bases backward!
The play area is open to the public Saturdays and Sundays from September to May from 10 am to 4 pm. During the months of June and August it's open everyday from 11 am to 5 pm. The play area is closed on game days and special event days.
We visited twice in August and the first time we couldn't get in due to a special event. My suggestion is to call for specific hours the play area is open before going- (415) 972-2000.
Definitely DO NOT forget a camera !
