Description
Arbolado Community Park is a big park that probably gets a lot of use on weekends from families and soccer games. In fact, there are two parking lots: a lower one for the play area and an upper one for the soccer fields and tennis courts. Beware that the bathrooms are located next to the upper parking lot, far away from the play area.
The play area is as wide open as the grass areas are. There are two separate play structures with additional climbing structures and a cute motorcycle gang area. It wasn't hard to picture a group of kids having more fun rocking furiously on those motorcycles.
The play structures have five slides, including one roller slide. There are eight swings all together, plus one tire swing. The three play structures are older, but are still engaging. The play areas didn't have a lot of shade, but there was clean sand covering and a few sand toys that other kids had left behind.
I really liked the wide open feel of the park, but I'm sure it's busy on weekends.
