Amador Valley Community Park's big attraction seems to be their aquatic facility. The play areas are small and not unique. However, there is a great path around the perimeter of the park that is good for bike riding.
The two play areas are quite far away from each other, so it would not be possible to supervise kids at both at the same time. The tot play structure has a cool boat design and tanbark covering. It also has the sand pit with two diggers.
The big kid play area has rubberized turf covering and a large picnic area nearby. One thing to note is that the big kid swings are next to the tot play area and the tot swings are next to the big kid play area. Didn't quite make sense to me either.
There are several soccer fields and lots of open grassy fields. I'm sure this park is busy during the fall on the weekends. The aquatic facility has four pools, a 50 meter pool, 25 yard pool, diving pool, and shallow pool with a water slide.
