Description
Almond Park is a small 6 acre neighborhood park near the Robert Livermore Community Center and Pool. It was named for the almond orchards it replaced. Some remnants of the orchards can be found in the back area of the park by the way the trees are planted. I thought it was a very beautiful park even though it only had a porta-potty for a bathroom.
The park has this beautiful back area away from the street with so many shade trees. There is a great flat path around that area that is wonderful for bike riding.
There are two play structures in the play area, which has tanbark. In one corner of the play area there is a small sand pit with a water source. There is no shade over the play area, but it does have a neat standing teeter-totter.
