Description
Alamo Creek Park is a nice park tucked away in a housing development in Dublin. It is built on a hill with the parking lot , bathrooms and basketball court at the top of the hill and the play area, picnic benches, and access to the Alamo Creek Bicycle Trail at the bottom.
The play areas are separated by a big shade tree. The big kid play area has a teeter-totter in the shade, the swings in the sun, and a big play structure with some slides, two bridges, and lots of climbing opportunities. The tot area has a smaller structure with slides and a sand pit with a water source to make good castles.
I liked the park, but there were no benches by the play areas and it was quite a trek up the hill to the bathrooms. Alamo Creek runs right next to the park, but there was no creek access other than a nice walking bridge over it to the surrounding neighborhood.
